Ok, had a bit of a late flight, but wow am I ever relaxed. Life is good!
I got some fantastic new island spices to play with. This bodes well for cooking class and for all of you ready for eating.
Students? Class is taking place outdoors this week. Good weather demands it! And I have been dying to get grilling.

In case you all are wondering, I am healthy again, well, as healthy as I can be, which is good enough, I tell you. I am also back to teaching class after Spring Break. And students, I have some great things lined up.
I will, however, not on the good Mr. Summer's team as I need to take it easy on the combat front for a bit.
That said next week, I'm taking a little vacation somewhere warm. I need to work on that tan of mine and there is a lot of me to tan.

Contrary to popular belief, I am awake, alive and kicking. I am, however, stuck on bedrest for a little bit. And yes, I really don't want to be here and want to cook for all of you right now, but I guess we'll all have to wait. Good things come to all who wait, eh?
I'll give a month's worth of lunches for someone who will bring me a perfect slice of NYC pizza.

Ok, my home ec class of 2. We have a field trip next Monday visiting one of the most wonderful kitchens I've ever had the chance to visit. We will have a preview of it this week on the Food Channel.

For those of you who were around Christmas day, you don't need to read this, but for those of you who were not, allow me to re-introduce myself. Guido Carosella. I'll be your Home Ec teacher. Cooking, sewing, all those domestic things.
I know you see that name 'Carosella' and think Italian and you'd be right, I am Italian and that food is my specialty. However, I do have a lot more up my sleeve, I promise.
For all of you in my class? I will always say to bring your appetites and expect to leave with edible homework!
For those of you not, don't you wish you were? ;) Hey, you can still register for it before classes start!
And for the rest, it's good to see you all again. I missed this place!
